Lily Ahmed (Chief Executive)
 
Country Director of CEC in the United Kingdom, Mrs. Ahmed in 1992 founded Bangladeshi Mental Health Association (BMHA), an organisation that provided culturally-appropriate mental health services to Bangladeshis and other communities in Birmingham. BMHA has, through her strong leadership, enhanced its operation in war torn Bosnia in 1995 and in Bangladesh in 1998. She has been selected for this position for her strong commitment towards achieving a just society especially in vulnerable economies. She is a strong advocate for women's economic emancipation, ending prostitution and upholding the rights of the child.
 
Morris (Don) Price (Secretary General)
 
A former journalist and a lecturer in Journalism and other subjects at City College, Birmingham. Served as honorary Board Secretary to BMHA for a decade. 
The UK committee has benefited from his involvement as the Secretary General.
 

Warinder Dhillon (Public Relations)

A former civil servant and current volunteer for UKCEC, he has extensive knowledge of where at times the system fails people this then results in the exploitation of people, he deals mostly with public relations and at times the administration side of UKCEC.

Recent Events

Currently we are in the process of setting up the United Kingdom wing of CEC.

We are also aiming at establishing ourselves with other groups with similar aims and objectives as ours.
